Giving

The teachings and practice opportunities at Just Show Up are offered freely, on the basis of “dana” or voluntary giving, recognition in the Zen tradition that giver, receiver and gift are one.

Giving dana allows us to benefit from the practice of generosity, to acknowledge the exchange that already is taking place, to both take our place in the unfolding of the natural world and offer ourselves to the unfolding of our practice and community.

Dana for Teaching

It is traditional in Zen practice that we give dana to those who provide our direct instruction. Our Practice Leader Bob Zeglovitch gratefully accepts dana for his offerings.
